Masjid Tawhid is pleased to present the Tafseer of Surah Luqman by Ustadh Murtaza Khan as part of our Sunday Circles Series. This lecture will be after 'Asr prayer in shaa' Allaah, Sunday 9th December 2012.

Masjid Tawhid is pleased to announce a Weekly Sisters' Circle at the Masjid.

Every Saturday morning, 11am-1pm, starting Saturday 24th November. The circle will cover eemaan boosting topics and heart warming reminders. The initial theme is titled "Sisters, let's go to Jannah!" and features a series of talks reminding us of Paradise and what leads to it.

All welcome. The circle will be held in the mothers side room, entrance from the front of the Masjid. An excellent way to seek knowledge and meet sisters from the community.

MYMN (Meet Your Muslim Neighbours) will be organising another Da'wah Open Day at Masjid al-Tawhid on Saturday 17th November 2012 from 11am till 4pm, in shaa' Allaah.

"Meet Your Muslim Neighbours (MYMN) was established in 2004 in East London as a voluntary organization by a group of young members of the community as a proactive step towards positive community and social cohesion. It has since been successful in organizing numerous community events throughout the country in various cities and also now looks to work in partnership with other organizations in order to run such events in other areas.

Masjid Tawhid is pleased to announce Sisters' Coffee Mornings at the Masjid.

Every Tuesday morning, 10am-12pm. Why not pop down for a friendly chat and some beneficial company, over some warming tea or coffee. Soul warming for all!

Children's interactive Islamic workshops run by Sr. Claire Ali.

Date: Sunday 4th of November.

Venue: Masjid al-Tawhid, downstairs hall. Entrance via Downsell Road.

Age group: 1-7 year olds - A one hour session with action songs, an interactive story session and a craft activity, all based on the story of Ibraheem (as). Claire will be using original Islamic songs, and will be giving out song sheets for you to carry on the fun at home insha'Allah! Please be punctual. Parking will be free on the side roads of the masjid that day.

Under 1s can attend, and £1 will be collected at the door for them.
