If the wife applies for khul'a but the couple continue to live under the same roof is there any evidence for how the couple should live bearing in mind that the wife wants to separate and the husband does not? If the wife feels she cannot give him his marital rights should she sleep in a separate room?

If she applies for khula, she is still married to her husband. If they can’t get on together, they can stay separate. But if the separation is exercised by women, she doesn’t deserve any maintenance money from her husband.
