The True Story of Jesus (as) for Children

Children's interactive Islamic workshops run by Sr. Claire Ali.

Date: Tuesday 27th of December (Bank Holiday).

Venue: Masjid al-Tawhid, downstairs hall. Entrance via Downsell Road.

Sessions available:

0-7 year olds - A one hour session with action songs, an interactive story session and a craft activity, all based on Eesa (as). Claire will be using original Islamic songs, and will be giving out song sheets for you to carry on the fun at home insha'Allah!

8-12 year olds - A one and a half hour session. The children will do educational group-based tasks and a craft/design activity all designed to investigate the story of Eesa (as) in a fun and interactive way. 

Please be punctual. Parking will be free on the side roads of the masjid that day.
Sessions 2 will be a repeat of Session 1.

All sessions cost £5 per child.

Timings:

Session 1 : 10am - 11.30am: 0-7 year olds (FULLY BOOKED)

Session 2 : 11.15am - 12.30pm: 0-7 year olds (FULLY BOOKED)

Lunch and salaah

Session 3 : 12.45pm - 2.30pm: 8-12 year olds (FULLY BOOKED)

'Asr

Important :

1. Mothers are required to stay for the 0-7 year old's session. However, your other children  will not be permitted in the hall with you, only the mother and child(ren) booked will be permitted.

2. The 8-12 year old's session is a drop-off session. Parents will NOT be permitted to wait In the hall for their child, but be expected to collect them promptly at the end time given.

Claire Ali has been running popular educational workshops for children for 8 years. Her background is education, she is a former Head of Languages and current PGCE tutor.

She believes that child-centred learning is the best route to nurturing our children. Her workshops are full of fun and creative learning activities that deepen and celebrate children's knowledge of their deen and develop in the child the joy and honour of being a muslim.
