Sisters' Da'wah Training Workshop

One Day Workshop for Women - Saturday 31st December 2011

Masjid Tawhid has organised a women’s workshop in December for a day of beneficial training on a topic of great importance – giving da’wah to non-Muslims.  This workshop is designed to equip you with the skills and techniques to give dawah to non-Muslims in a clear and constructive manner. No prior dawah experience necessary!  It should be beneficial for everyone inshaAllah as we all have interactions with non-Muslims.  Delivered by Sr. Umm Zakariya; an experienced da’eea.

Lecture titles:

1. Introduction to Da’wah.

What is da’wah, whose responsibility is it, what is the role of the da’eea and what are the rewards for giving da’wah.

2. Da’wah Strategy.

An effective strategy on how to give da’wah in a constructive, clear and concise manner.

3. Obstacle Resolution Techniques.

Learn how to overcome common obstacles faced when giving da’wah and how to answer those tough questions.

4. Group Exercises.

Interactive group exercise designed to help you put all the theory into practice. 

5. Question and answer session

Delivered by Sr. Umm Zakariya, an experienced daee’a with years of experience in 1:1 and group da’wah through mosque events, public exhibitions and mentoring new Muslims.

Date: Saturday 31st December 2011, insha'Allah.

Time: 11am - 5pm (Registration at 10.30am)

Venue: Masjid al-Tawhid, 80 High Road, Leyton, E15 2BP.

Downstairs Hall. Entrance via Downsell Road.

Ticket prices: £5 at the door, to cover costs. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
